Hoya is easy enough to grow and has SPECTACULAR pink-white clusters of scented flowers in the summer. They really are simple to care for. They love being root bound and therefore don’t need potting into new soil every year. They like to be kept on the drier side (obviously not bone dry) but would prefer to dry out slightly between waterings and hate being over watered.
They are partial to a few hours of direct sun (morning or late afternoon sun is preferred when the sun isn’t at its strongest.
But all in all they are a fabulous plant and enjoy being left alone.
Care
Light // Bright indirect - some direct sun in the warmer months
Water // Allow to dry slightly between waterings - Do not allow the plant to sit in wet soil
Humidity // Regular household humidity is fine - They would be happier if you misted and wiped their leaves every so often to ensure they photosynthesise the best they can
Feed // Biweekly in the growing months, to help produce the best flower show you’ve ever seen
PET FRIENDLY - MILKY SAP FOUND IN THE LEAVES CAN BE AN IRRITANT IF THE LEAF BREAKS
